About Matrix Human Services

Advocating for and serving the Metro Detroit community for more than a century, Matrix Human Services began as the League of Catholic Women in 1906. From that time forward, the organization has continued to touch hearts and change lives inside and beyond Detroit’s borders. With a focus on self-sufficiency, Matrix Human Services offers programs that educate children, support families, and help neighborhoods. Each year, Matrix provides services to more than 20,000 individuals and families at its 30+ locations, most notably the Matrix Center, a community hub in Detroit’s Osbourne neighborhood.
