The Matrix Center

The Matrix Center is home to a vast array of essential services and resources with a focus on educating children, supporting families & rebuilding neighborhoods.

The Matrix Center offers youth, families, adults and seniors an array of supportive services and referrals through Matrix programming and collaboration with more than 150 mission partners. The Matrix Center is now open to the public. Call 313-526-4000 to contact Matrix staff.

THE MATRIX CENTER IS CHANGING LIVES

 

The Matrix Center (est. 2006) is Matrix Human Services’ thriving community center on Detroit’s east side.

Programs at The Matrix Center are designed to meet the needs of Detroit residents and those of surrounding areas.

Our offered resources are vast and there’s always something new! You can count on The Matrix Center for safe after-school programming, an emergency food pantry, Tuesday Food Distribution, a community clothing closet, computer literacy instruction, counseling, mentoring, educational literacy, GED & High-school completion, employment skill-building, family activities, recreation, financial literacy, the arts, Matrix Head Start, summer youth day-camps, youth basketball & boxing, community events, midnight basketball & boxing for teens and young adults, and a wide array of other initiatives, events and programming.
