Production Associate 

Plymouth, MI 

Salary: $18.00 

 Must be able to pass a background check         Completion of Secondary School required

Position Details:  

Assembles minor units with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations while following standardized work instructions 

Works within manufacturing environment either at workstation or conveyor performing manual job tasks with or without the assistance of automated equipment 

Checks quality, sorts, packages, labels, and/or trims parts as needed 

Assembles products while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity objectives 

Use of various hand and power tools 

May work alone or as part of a team environment 

Make suggestions for continuous improvement 

Complete operator pre-shift inspection checklist 

Ensure the workstation is kept orderly in a clean and safe manner 

Flexible, able to work various shifts and overtime when required 

Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Work Environment  

Physical Demands – Normal amount of sitting and standing; Ability to move around an office environment and on the production floor.  Ability to work at a computer workstation; Ability to bend, twist, lift, reach.  Required to carry out job duties and responsibilities in a work environment that may include, but is not limited to, varying levels of noise and/or temperature. Ability to lift max. 50lbs periodically.

MACHINE OPERATOR NEEDED 

WILL WORK WITH PEOPLE WITH A BACKGROUND ON A CASE-BY-CASE. WE ARE PLEASED TO BE A SECOND CHANCE EMPLOYER!! 

Fraser, MI 

$12.00 PER HOUR, $.050 FOR 2ND and 3RD SHIFT 

1st Shift: 7am-3pm               2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm                   3rd Shift: 11pm-7am 

FULL BENEFITS AFTER 90 DAYS 

Preferred experience in manufacturing but we will train 

 Must be able to lift 30 pounds in addition to walking and standing for 8 hours without reasonable accommodations  

 Responsible for quality of parts produced, with a goal of ZERO Defects. 

Monitoring material levels in our work cell. 

Assist Production Quality Lead in training new team members. 

Inspect finished parts per operator instruction sheets and control plans. 

Trim gates and flash, as required. 

 Pack parts per operator instruction sheets and control plans. 

Responsible for attaching correct bar-coded shipping label to containers, adding date/shift and name. Label must match part being run. 

Contact Supervisor or Production Quality Lead, if problems arise. 

Log all necessary information into the traceability logbook. 

Ensure that all safety standards and procedures are followed. 

Requirements 

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency, preferred. 

 Math skills and be able to use a calculator. 

 Ability to read and write legibly and comprehend both written and verbal communications. 

 Be able to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed. 

 The physical demands for this position include being able to lift 30 to 35 pounds, must be able bend and stand for long periods of time 8-to-12-hour intervals; working frequently in close proximity to machinery, noise levels are moderate, and it is a climate control environment.
