The mission of Matrix Human Services (Matrix) Youth Assistance Program (YAP) is to offer services that reduce youth crime by providing prevention and early intervention services to youth who are in danger of entry into the juvenile justice system.

The Matrix YAP provides intervention to youth 7 thru 17 years old that enhances their quality of life, builds confidence, builds self esteem, improves academic performance and provides life experiences that prevent involvement with the juvenile justice system.

The preventive and early intervention curriculum includes the following services: Individual Counseling, School Anti-“Bullying” Program, Group Counseling, Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Tutoring, Academic Enrichment, Homework Assistance, Substance Abuse Intervention and Services, Financial Literacy, Computer Skills and College Preparation Activities.
