Matrix Partnerships for Housing
Matrix Partnerships for Housing (MPH) provides
housing for low income women with children who have been homeless
with histories of substance abuse, domestic violence, and/or
incarceration. The program receives referrals from community
agencies and clients complete a thorough assessment to determine
eligibility.
MPH supportive services include parenting skill workshops,
living skills workshops, and mandatory monthly meetings. Employment
assistance, emergency needs, and referral assistance are also
offered to clients. Household goods, clothing and furniture
donations are arranged through collaborating programs. The
ultimate goal of this program is for the families served to
become self-sufficient and productive members of the community.
City and state officials have been invaluable towards the
clients' successes.
