Bargain Counter North (est. 1925), is located in Berkley, Michigan. Operated by The League of Catholic Women, The Bargain Counter North sells new and used clothing and small household items, including vintage items, at reasonable prices to benefit Matrix programs.

Margaret Walker, Manager, explains,” We have racks of clothes; new styles and vintage, and you know so many are into that. Our clientele is very loyal and are mostly working women who want to dress nicely.” League volunteers continue to donate their time to staff, the shop, and make a difference in the community.
